The cooking appliance fire suppression system shall be monitored in accordance with NFPA-17A (National Fire Protection Association) requirements that include a signal to “show the system has operated and personal response is needed.” The shutdown/alarm panel shall be used on N.F.P.A.-17A applications.

Furnish and install an ES2000 as manufactured by ES Products, LLC to monitor the cooking appliance fire suppression system. The ES2000 monitors the suppression system’s internal discharge micro-switch. Upon release of the system’s internal micro-switch, a horn/strobe mounted on the ES2000 is energized. The horn can be silenced, but the strobe will continue to flash until the system is returned to normal.

Two sets of dry contacts are provided on the ES2000 for equipment/fan shutdown. An additional 120-volt AC output is provided for contact or relay operation.
